2003 Red Bull Driver Search winner Matt Jaskol has signed with Team Autotechnica to compete in the Formula BMW North America Championship this season.
Jaskol, from Las Vegas, is one of three drivers to win backing from Red Bull for the 2004 season through the Driver Search, which aims to find and groom young American talent for a chance to reach Formula One.
Fellow Red Bull Driver Search winners Dominque Claessens, Colin Fleming and Scott Speed will race this season in the Formula Renault Eurocup, as Jaskol is the only winner to remain in America.
The inaugural Formula BMW USA season will consist of 14 races, starting May 31 at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut.

Red Bull trio makes 2004 debut in Europe: 2003 Red Bull Driver Search winners Scott Speed, Colin Fleming and Dominque Claessens opened their 2004 Formula Renault Eurocup seasons March 27-28 with mixed results at Monza, Italy.
Speed won the pole for both races, finishing second in the first race and 12th in the second.
Fleming finished a disappointing 24th in the first race after being hit from behind on the first lap, but he rebounded with a fifth-place finish in the second race.
Claessens placed 16th in the first race and ninth in the second race.
The Red Bull Driver Search aims to find and groom young American talent for a chance to reach Formula One by placing them in road-racing training series, primarily in Europe, with full backing from Red Bull.
