Sutton Coldfield youngster Andrew Jordan is now preparing for the third round of the British Junior Rallycross Championship on Easter Monday (12 April) at the Lydden Hill circuit in Kent.
After the opening two rounds of the season in Northern Ireland, Andrew (14) lies third in the championship and is determined to maintain his title bid at the Kent circuit, which is widely regarded as the home of rallycross in Britain.
Andrew, the winner of the recent Junior Winter Series, faces tough competition in the British championship, with up to 15 youngsters expected to compete on Easter Monday in identical Minis.
"Both of the tracks in Ireland were new to me," says Andrew. "But I've raced at Lydden before and done well there, so I'm aiming for a good result to keep up the title campaign. After Lydden, there is a six-week gap to the next round in Scotland at the end of May, so it's important to score well at Lydden."
