Bangers roll with it at Wimbledon

Spedeworth International's (www.spedeworth.co.uk) brave (or stark raving mad) Banger pilots will be racing on terra firma and then taking to the air in a spectacular ramp roll over competition to raise money for Capital Radio's Help a London Child appeal at Wimbledon Stadium on Easter Bank Holiday Sunday, April 11th at 6pm.

The Bangers will get up to full speed with the best part of a full lap of the Plough Lane circuit and then hit the ramp on the home straight to produce a spectacular roll over that would make a Hollywood stunt driver green with envy. The rollover action will raise the hairs on the back of spectators necks; while raising money for a deserving cause when the cars take to the air and come back to earth in a shower of sparks and twisted metal.

Once the spectators have got their breath back from the roll over competition there will be more fender bending from the all-action Stock Cars. These armoured track warriors delivered a night of non-stop, full contact racing on their last Wimbledon outing and look set to deliver another fence pounding session on Easter Sunday.

The ever-popular Ministox will also be in action. Piloted by young (11-16 year old) drivers the little armoured Minis can deliver as much action as the 'senior formulae' as the drivers learn the skills required to take them to the top in the competitive world of Stock Car racing.

With three formulas in action, plus the jaw-dropping ramp roll over competition, Spedeworth will ensure that the Easter Bank Holiday weekend gets off with a real bang at Wimbledon Stadium, Britain's finest stock car racing circuit.
