Team McLaren Mercedes completed the first day of a four day test in Paul Ricard in the south of France yesterday with drivers David Coulthard and Kimi Raikkonen completing a total of 158 laps between them. David topped the timesheets for the day with a fastest time of 1m07.833s.

David and Kimi will continue the programme for the next two days until they are replaced by the team’s third driver Alex Wurz and test driver Pedro de la Rosa on Friday 16th April.

Other teams testing over the course of the week are Toyota, Jaguar, Renault and Williams.
