Marcus: "I'm feeling quite confident. I think the engineers have made some good progress with the car, and we are only four points off the lead of the drivers' championship. Our road position for tomorrow's stages should be good, although a lot depends on the weather. Both me and the team are used to winning, so the goal is to get back to the top again."

Harri: "This is now my second rally with the 307WRC and I have learnt a lot more about the car. I've always had a very good feeling with New Zealand, so I don't see any problems with the event. My goal is to push hard from the very start of the rally and I think I can finish on the podium if we have no problems. In New Zealand there are very nice flowing roads which suit my driving style well."
