Rossi at Ferrari shakedown

Yesterday at Fiorano saw the shakedown of the cars that Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro will use in the forthcoming San Marino Grand Prix, scheduled for Sunday 25th April at the “Enzo e Dino Ferrari” circuit at Imola.

Luca Badoer and Michael Schumacher were on track. A total of 16 laps were completed, eight of them on the short version of the track. The best time on the day was a 58”433.

Also present at the shakedown was the MotoGP rider, Valentino Rossi who did a few laps at the wheel of one of the cars. "It was a very exciting day for me," declared Rossi. "Driving  an F1 car was an amazing experience and it was great for me to follow in Schumacher's footsteps for a day. I would like to thank Ferrari for having given me this opportunity."
