In accordance with Green Flag MSA British Touring Car Championship Regulation 1.11.2.b, BTCC Administrator Alan Gow has implemented a variation to the minimum vehicle weights for vehicles complying with Art 263 Super 2000 of the FIA Technical Regulations with effect from Saturday 8 May.

This means that the minimum weights of ETCC-spec (Super 2000) cars contesting the BTCC have been increased by 25kgs as of the first free practice session at Silverstone's BTCC race meeting.

These minimum vehicle weights are as follows:
