Magny-Cours will be hosting the third round of the FIA GT championship.and ex-champion Matteo Bobbi will be on the French track with an extra battle weapon: power steering. team-mates Matteo Bobbi and Gabriele Gardel will have a small shakedown today on a circuit near Magny-Cours to test this.
The Magny-Cours circuit is 4411 meters and has had some work done to it in some areas. In particular, a redesigned final chicane, which could be a new important overtaking place.
Matteo Bobbi
“We conquered in Magny-Cours last year. We got the pole position and the victory and I obviously hope to repeat this again this year. This track compared to the Valencia track is a lot less physically demanding and this time around we’ll have power steering installed in the car. BMS Scuderia Italia has been working well with the car’s development and this is just an extra reason to face this race with serenity.”
