The Czech Republic will be hosting the Superfund Euro 3000 season opening race this weekend at the Brno Track
GP Racing will be at the starting line with three cars this season.
Car #5 will be driven by Fabrizio Del Monte; last year’s vice champion. Fabrizio is considered one of the potential winners of this season.
The #6 single-seater will be raced by the young Belgian driver Maxime Hodencq. Hodencq participated in the last two races in Cagliari and Jerez with the Venetian team
The #20 third single-seater will be Tor Graves’ car. This English driver, born in Bangkok competed in British Formula 3 last year.
Mauro Loro, President
“For the first time in GP Racing’s history, we will participate in the championship with 3 cars (we are also the only team in the series to have three cars). Apart from making this considerable technical and economical investment, this represents a great organizational effort on our part. Our philosophy is to give all our drivers only the best.
For this reason, we have just recently bought a 4th car and our technical department has grown. In fact, we hired a new chief mechanic, a new telemetrist and a new mechanic. We also have a new truck at hand that will make the transportation of our equipment easier.
I hope that this season will be successful: last year in Brno, Del Monte took his first victory. I hope that this track brings us luck again.”
