The partnership between Pakelo Racing and Andrea De Megni has been renewed in 2004 and  will be participating in the second running  of the Maserati Trophy.

The 2004 calendar includes races on the most prestigious tracks in Europe. The season opening race will be in Vallelunga on May 2nd.  Then, the cars will move on to Spa, Silverstone, Hockenheim, Imola, and Magny-Cours - the finale will be on October 31st on a track that has yet to be selected.

Andrea De Megni’s  red car signed Pakelo Racing in the Maserati Trophy  is the racing version of the Maserati Coupé Cambiocorsa. Assembled at the famous Viale Ciro Menotti headquarters, on the same production line as the Coupé and Spyder, the championship was designed to offer the driver an easy-to-drive car that was capable of stirring strong emotions. The V8 90° V-angle engine puts out 415bhp, allowing the driver to make the most of the power without compromising the torque. The six-speed gearbox set up is the same as on a standard road car, or can be set behind the steering column.

Andrea De Megni is a merchant from Verona, born on April 11, 1972 and is making his track debut this year. As an owner of a Maserati, he has chosen this championship because he wants to get a taste of the excitement one gets when driving it on the track. In 2003 Andrea gained valuable experience while having fun. This year, Andrea hopes he’ll get prestigious results.
