The USA Sprints Southern Thunder Tour makes its third visit to The Thundercross Motorsports Park in Okeechobee Florida this weekend May 8th.

Andy "Hammer Down" Kelly coming off his most recent victory leads the points with "Tiny" Tim George,Bob "Thunderfoot" Schaeffer,John "Party Time" Cicota and RC Roper "The Racin Cowboy" rounding out the top five. Many new faces are expected this week including Johnny Law,Davey Jones and Mark Gimmler. There have been five winners in seven races thus far in 2004. There are some USA Stars that have yet to grace Victory lane among them The 2003 USA Sprints Champion Shane "WestCoast Flash" Kriedler and David "Skeeter" Kelly last years Thundercross Track Champion are still very much in the hunt.

The track has been smooth and fast the last couple races so expect lots of action and passing. Last time out at Thundercross had all the fans standing and cheering the drivers after the race was over in what some onlookers said was some of the very best racing seen at the Okeechobee 1/4 mile oval in quite some time.
