On the first stage this morning I was maybe a little too cautious, so I decided to push harder on the second and third stages. The first stage was probably the roughest, but the second two were not so bad. If we can keep going like this, I will be happy."

Harri: "I've had no serious problems and things are going well. I'm trying to drive as neatly as possible – the roads are very narrow so you cannot get sideways. The car feels very strong, which confirms what we thought in the pre-event tests."
