Buggy Experience Racing Team, in addition to its confirmed racing program in the Spanish Endurance Championship with Javier Ibran and Alvaro Fontes, will take part in two other new series: the Spanish GT championship and the Michelin Endurance Series. Mathijs Bakker, from Holland, joins the outfit for these new racing programs.
The new Ginetta G55 GT4, recently acquired by Buggy Experience Racing Team for the Spanish Endurance Championship with Alvaro Fontes and Javier Ibra, will compete in four scheduled rounds consisting of two-hour races each: Navarra, Catalunya, Portimao and Motorland, and will take part in two other championships throughout the 2014 season: the Spanish GT championship and the new Michelin Endurance Series.
The team will race in the Michelin Endurance Series with Dutchman Mathijs Bakker, who is joining the squad for this championship. Bakker is an experienced racer with plenty of experience in GT racing and has competed in the Trofeo Maserati World Series for the last two years.
Buggy Experience Racing Team has also confirmed Melo Romero as its engineer for the upcoming season. Given his extensive hands-on experience in motorsport, he will be another plus for the team and its challenges ahead.
