Kligerman secures sponsor on eve of Daytona 500

Another primary sponsorship deal has been struck ahead of Sunday's Daytona 500, the biggest race in the Nascar season and the 2014 championship-opener.

Swan Racing has announced online loan marketplace LendingTree as the primary partner of Parker Kligerman's car for Sunday's race.

LendingTree's green and white paintscheme appeared on the car during Thursday night's Budweiser Duel qualifying race, in which Kligerman finished 17th.

Doug Lebda, LendingTree's founder and chief exective said: "LendingTree's primary focus is to empower individuals, whether that's empowering borrowers against big banks or empowering up-and-coming drivers against more established race teams."

Meanwhile, Nationwide Series team JD Motorsports has revealed uniform rental company G&K as the primary sponsor for driver Landon Cassil at Saturday's opening race of the year, also at Daytona.

It will be the fifth year the company has sponsored the team. "We are excited to have a rising star like Landon Cassill representing G&K Services both on and off the track," said Dave Euson, G&K's vice president of marketing and sales.
