WOLVERHAMPTON boss Peter Adams is tipping Tai Woffinden to add more World title success over the coming years.Adams, who works with Woffinden in the Grand Prix series as well as being his team manager at Monmore Green, has previously been in the pit corner of speedway greats Ole Olsen, Bruce Penhall and Erik Gundersen.He said: “I've been fortunate enough to work with the best in the business, and Woffinden has the ability to go on and win more world titles in my view.“He's got so much natural ability on the bike and his application and desire to succeed is excellent. I'm looking forward to another big year ahead with him.”

SHEFFIELD have announced an extension of their main team sponsorship deal as they prepare for a new era of racing at Owlerton.Ian Hunter continues to back the club through Sheffield Window Centre, having also played a major role in finalising the agreement for the new consortium to take control of the club during negotiations when outgoing owner Neil Machin was in Australia.Consortium spokesman Damien Bates said: “Ian Hunter is an integral and vital part of this club and on behalf of the consortium I would like to express our appreciation and hope he remains on board for many years to come.”

GARY Havelock has secured the services of former World Champion Greg Hancock for his Farewell meeting at Poole on March 21.Hancock rode for the Pirates during the second half of last season as a replacement for the injured Chris Holder and helped the club take the Elite League title after a dramatic late run into the play-offs.The line-up for the opening meeting of 2014 at Wimborne Road, with one spot to fill, also includes three members of Poole’s team for this year – Darcy Ward, Maciej Janowski and Vaclav Milik.Havelock said: “I have been talking to Greg for some time and he has always assured me that there was a 90 per cent chance that he would be able to come, but he needed to wait to make sure he could accommodate us in his busy schedule.
