Third victory for Cuoq and his Subaru WRC First
Jean-Marie Cuoq and his codriver Jean-Charles Descamps with their Subaru WRC2002 are certainly unbeatable this season in the French rally gravel championship.
This weekend, in Digne-les-Bains, they took their 3rd consecutive victory in as many rounds competed until now!
Victims of a touchette at the beginning of the race, due to which a universal joint and the trammel of their Subaru WRC99 had to be replaced, team-mates Michel Sambourg and Louis Biet notched three best times on Sunday and only failed to take a podium place by one second. Jean-Claude Lavigne and Alain Therond were forced into retirement by a defective cylinder head gasket on their Subaru WRC P2000.
