Book early for Wales Rally GB

16-19 September 2004

Ticket hotline opens 21st May 2004 Call 0870 060 1764 or log onto walesrallygb.com

With its new date for 2004, the excitement is mounting as tickets for Wales Rally GB, 16th-19th September go on sale from 21st May 2004. Better weather and longer daylight hours, combined with a new stage at Epynt in mid-Wales will make Wales Rally GB a ‘must’ for motorsports fans.  And the organisers have responded to spectator feedback from 2003 to widen the range of tickets even further for this year.

New to 2004 is the opportunity for advance ticket buyers to upgrade to the Rally Cafe hospitality. A ticket or pass can be upgraded from only £45 per head per selected venue.  This will give access to ‘Club Class’ hospitality where spectators can relax, recharge their batteries, get updates on the results and enjoy light refreshments.

Families are also set to benefit, as ‘kids go free’ with Wales Rally GB’s new family package.  Created for the stages that have the greatest spectator opportunities, the Wales Rally GB family ticket costs just £40 for two adults and two children promising a great day out for all the family at a bargain price.

Buying a ticket or pass in advance guarantees availability and secures a lower price.  Details of event passes, day passes and single stages can all be found at walesrallygb.com, or by phoning the hotline 0870 060 1764.

Tim Foster, Rally GB Ltd comments, “This year the tickets offer flexibility and value for money, combined with great offers for spectators. Our continued focus on safety means ticket availability, which is dictated by car park capacity for each stage and each day, is limited.  Tickets will, therefore, be sold on a first come, first served basis. So fans wanting to guarantee their place at the heart of the action should book in advance and take advantage of the price benefits.

“Wales Rally GB is a world class event and we have worked hard to ensure there is a ticket combination for every level of enthusiasm and every budget. Whether it’s family groups, corporate hospitality or a weekend away for rally aficionados, Wales Rally GB is an experience that will take your breath away.
