Riccardo Agostini ready for FIA F3 European challenge

FIA F3 European Championship has unveiled the 2014 entry list, a preview of the Formula 1 starting grid in a few years time.

The most numerically represented countries are Italy and the UK, with Riccardo Agostini determined to elevate the Italian flag to the top of the podium.

The Padua-based driver was the 2012 Italian F3 Champion and will debut in the series with the Dallara-Mercedes of Antonio Ferrari’s Eurointernational team, wearing a very special number - number 7, the same as Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen. Riccardo keeps a space for Ferrari in his heart as he was given the chance of a Formula 1 test with the Maranello car two years ago.

Among the most fearsome of the 30 rivals lining up on the grid will be the Swede Felix Rosenqvist (kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport), 2013 runner-up. There will also be stiff opposition from Jake Dennis (Carlin), Antonio Fuoco and Esteban Ocon (these last two will both race with Prema), respectively McLaren, Ferrari and Lotus proteges.

There will be also two famous sons: Max Verstappen (Jos, his father, entered 106 F1 Grand Prix) and Tom Blomqvist, with the same surname of the former rally world champion Stig.

Riccardo is focused on performing well in the tests scheduled for the first week of April at the Hungaroring track.
