Motors TV to Carry All 2014 Porsche Club Championship Races

The 2014 Baylis & Harding Porsche Club Championship with Pirelli will see each meeting televised in a stand-alone one-hour programme on the well-known Motors TV channel – the first time the series has seen all races available to a large audience. Filming at the circuits will be carried out by Digitex Television, who have covered Porsche Club racing before and are highly experienced in filming and producing British motorsport coverage for broadcast.

“With the full championship being televised it will allow us to get the competitive and exciting nature of Porsche Club racing across to a wider audience,” said Porsche Club Motorsport’s Steve Kevlin. “With the inclusion of Motors TV on the Freeview platform it will dramatically increase potential exposure for our competitors and all of the sponsors involved in the championship.”

“We are excited to be working with the Porsche Club Championship this season,” said Digitex’s Barry Welch. “We have worked with Steve and the series before and have been supplying content to Motors TV for a long time now so know exactly what is needed to ensure the series looks its best in the finished programmes.”

Motors TV was established in 2000 as a dedicated 24-hours a day seven days a week channel featuring an extensive range of national and international racing series featuring cars, motorbikes, boats and aircraft. It is available on a variety of platforms in the UK including satellite, cable, and Freeview in addition to the coverage being streamed off its own website.

The 2014 Porsche Club Championship starts at Brands Hatch on May 3rd – with those opening two races scheduled to be broadcast for the first time on Wednesday 21st May at 17.20.
