All Wegmans in-store ticket programs will sell tickets for Speedway events

Wegmans will host Friday Race Fest & Annual Lehigh Valley Hauler Parade

Attention shoppers - Nazareth Speedway tickets are now available at all Wegmans Food Market in-store ‘That the Ticket’ locations.  This newly introduced partnership grants Wegmans the right to sell tickets for the Goulds Pumps ITT Industries 200, NASCAR Busch Series & the Service Electric 100, NASCAR Featherlite Modified Series next weekend May 22-23. Tickets for Firestone Indy 225, IRL IndyCar Series event weekend this summer, August 27-29th are also being sold. Fans can now walk-up and purchase tickets to Nazareth Speedway in any Wegmans in-store ticket location for all Speedway events.

This newly introduced partnership with Wegmans also includes in-store promotions and public address announcements across local stores in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Right now, if you listen closely - customers can hear NASCAR Busch Series driver and Nazareth Speedway record holder, Randy LaJoie, speaking to customers about this newly introduced customer benefit.

“We are proud of the relationship that we have been able to build with Wegmans,” said Craig Rust, President of Nazareth Speedway. “These onsite ticket locations should be convenient for our fans – especially those located across the Northeast.”  Wegmans currently operates stores in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Virginia.

Wegmans will also host this year’s Race Festival on Friday, May 21st & launch the Annual Lehigh Valley Hauler Parade to help kick-off the weekend’s racing activities. The Race Fest will take place at the Wegmans located only a few miles down the road from the Speedway, at the intersection of Highway 33 and Route 248. Festivities begin at 1:00 pm and continue throughout the afternoon until the Busch Series haulers depart at 5:00 pm. This year the hauler parade will tackle a new route and head in different direction through the Lehigh Valley, ending at the Speedway.

Start: Wegmans 3791 Easton / Nazareth Hwy.Easton, PA 18045(610) 515-2400 -  Left on 248 and follow that down to Nazareth Pike – Highway 191. Finish: Nazareth Speedway - Gate 4 Two events are featured on the 2004 schedule at Nazareth Speedway, highlighted by the Goulds Pumps ITT Industries 200, NASCAR Busch Series in three weeks, May 22-23, where NASCAR Nextel Cup Series driver Kasey Kahne, Greg Biffle and Michael Waltrip will compete for the trophy. The Indy Racing League IndyCar Series, also returns on August 29 in the Firestone Indy 225 with three supporting USAC races.
