Koiranen GP confirm Nyck de Vries for Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS and Eurocup

Koiranen GP confimed the agreement with Nyck de Vries. The 19-year-old Dutch of McLaren Young Driver Programme, will continue with Finnish team in 2014, taking part in the Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS and Eurocup.

Last year, de Vries entered three of the seven Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS rounds and scored two second places at Mugello and finished fourth at Vallelunga.

A few days ago Nick set the lap record in the Eurocup F.Renault 2.0 collective test at Paul Ricard, confirming to be one of the front-runners of the series.

"My goal is to fight for both championshps, however, I think we should not understimate our opponents". - commented de Vries.

"We are very pleased McLaren and Nyck trusted us for another season. - said Afa Heikkinen - We target the highest step of the podium for this year and we are sure that our team will be strong enough to reach it".
