G&W Motorsports Mid-Ohio Test

G&W Motorsports tested its No. 81 Rx.com Dinan BMW-powered Doran JE4 Daytona Prototype at Mid-Ohio Sports CarCourse last week. Rolex Sports Car Series Daytona Prototype points leadersCort Wagner and Kelly Collins joined their teammate Brent Martini at thewheel of the BMW Doran during the test as the trio prepares for thisweekend's 6 Heures du Circuit Mont-Tremblant in Quebec, Canada.

"No test is without its hurdles, but it is a pleasure to see that our faithin each team member and drivers is paying off," G&W Motorsports Team ManagerPrice Cobb said. "The Mid-Ohio test was further affirmation of the decisionto have last year's GT champions on board the Rx.com Daytona Prototype."

Wagner, Collins and Martini will look to give the Rx.com No. 81 BMW Doranits first Rolex Series victory this weekend at the 6 Heures du CircuitMont-Tremblant. Wagner and Collins captured the Daytona Prototype pointslead following the duo's third-place finish in the Food City 250 at PhoenixInternational Raceway and second-place finish in the Grand Prix of Miami.

G&W Motorsports, based at Virginia International Raceway in Alton, Va., isthe most successful team in the Rolex Series, capturing the inaugural GTchampionship in 2000, both the GT and GTS championships in 2001 and the SRPII championship in 2003. G&W Motorsports is the only team to compete inevery Rolex Series race since the series' inception, accumulating 15 classwins and 45 podium finishes in class.
