Round 1: Jon MacKenzie Autotests (Hagley and District Light Car Club), 16 March

Reigning Champion Richard Pinkney opened his 2014 account with victory at the Jon MacKenzie Autotest, held on the Curborough Sprint course.

Pinkney dominated the event, winning by 58.2 seconds aboard his Caterham 7. Paul Fobister, in the Haigh Special, took the runner-up spot and the Specials class win after a close battle with the Blitz Special of Dave Evans.

Roger Holder took Class B honours and fifth overall ahead of Lee Valentine, the latter having picked up a 30-second penalty on the opening round of tests and finished just 30.2 seconds behind Holder.
