Team Fortec Motorsports is ready for a new challenge in Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS. The English team led by Martin Young, will join the 2014 season of the Fast Lane Promotion Series with three very young drivers: the Croatian Martin Kodric, the Monaco's Charles Leclerc and the Brazilian Thiago Vivacqua.
The first, 16 y/o, has only a limited experience in single seater in England and New Zealand. Leclerc, also born in ’97, is instead at his absolute debut in car racing after a succesfull experience in karting where he also achieved second overall in the 2013 KZ World Final in Varennes.
Same situation for Vivacqua, 17 y/o, who only raced once last year in the North European similar series.
«We are thrilled to make our debut in this year Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS. - were Young’s words - Team Fortec aims in providing support to all drivers coming from karting and willing to climb the motorsport ladder all the way to F1. Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS represents the ideal first step in this process to gain precious experience on the most challenging European tracks».
In the mean time the first green light of the season is set for the 5th and 6th of April weekend in Imola, in just less than three weeks.
