Motul gets back in the saddle with MotoGP

Lubricants manufacturer Motul has extended its commercial agreement with the MotoGP motorcycling series.

Terms of the deal, brokered with MotoGP’s commercial rights-holder Dorna, were not disclosed, but Motul will benefit from increased branding visibility during the forthcoming 2014 season.

This year, Motul corner signage will be rolled out at 17 of the 18 tracks on the calendar, starting with the season-opening Qatar Grand Prix on March 23. Motul will be provided with new signage at the season finale in Valencia, along with the newest venue on the calendar, Argentina.

Motul is also continuing its race-specific partnership with the Monster Energy Grand Prix de France for the 19th consecutive year. The event at Le Mans this year takes place on May 18.

Motul president Hervé Amelot said: “If, thanks to Motul's live research and development in the very demanding MotoGP field, the performance of the best and most modern bikes participating in the MotoGP can be enhanced, we will have fulfilled our mission.”
