"It has been a lot more difficult here than in Abu Dhabi. We struggled a few times because we didn't use the tyres in the right moment but I think that we collected a lot of important data and that in the end we have a very competitive package. The excellent results in several of the sessions show this. I can't wait to come back in 10 days for the first race of the season".
22 - AXCIL JEFFERIES
Axcil returned to drive the Trident team's one seater only on the 3rd test day but was able to fully take advantage of the study and data analysis carried out by the engineers and teammates in the first two days. The work on the track was concentrated aboveall on qualifying simulation and the 9th place position today is no doubt representative of the good set-up of the car and the driver's great determination.
Best Result: P9 on Day 3 PM

"It's always tough jumping in on the last day, but I tried to make the most of it. Over the two days while I wasn't driving I tried to learn as much as possible to ensure that when I jumped in, we could get up to speed quickly. In the AM we had a few problems with the car, so didn't run new tyres. But over lunch the guys worked flat out to resolve the issue, so a big thank you to the them. In the PM we were able to do some decent running and ran consistently in the top 10. I must thank Trident for all their help, they really have helped me develop as a driver, and now I feel ready to make the step up and compete in GP2! I cant wait till the first race "
