Today's Commercial Bank Grand Prix of Qatar Moto3 qualifying session saw Alex Rins take pole position for the first race of 2014, with his Estrella Galicia teammate Alex Marquez in second place and Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Ajo) joining him on the front row of the grid.

Rins posted the fastest ever Moto3 lap of Losail with a time of 2’05.973s.

Marquez had provisional pole but eventually lost out by 0.152s. 

Row two is filled by Jakub Kornfeil and Isaac Vinales (Calvo Team) and  Danny Kent ( Red Bull Husqvarna Ajo)  Row three comprises John McPhee (SAXOPRINT RTG), Romano Fenati (SKY Racing Team VR46) and Niccolo Antonelli (Junior Team GO&FUN).
