Full 2014 season for De los Milagros

The Spanish driver, one of the most successful ones in the Iberian Peninsula, will take part in several championships throughout the 2014 season: Michelin Endurance Series, Spanish GT championship, Spanish Endurance championship and Historic Endurance Series.

Jose Manuel De los Milagros has established the details of his racing program for the incipient season. De los Milagros, until now still the only driver to win two consecutive titles in the Spanish Renault Cups over a period of more than forty years, shall participate in four of Iberian Peninsula´s best championships taking place at the moment.

In this way De los Milagros joins Bólido Racing to share its Dodge Viper with Jesús Díez Villarroel in the Michelin Endurance Series and the Spanish GT championship, and teaming up with Raúl Castilla in the Spanish Endurance championship at the wheel of a Hyundai Coupe. After an exploratory season two years ago in classic competition, 2014 is to be no exception as De los Milagros will participate with Alex de Reguero and Carlos Martínez de Campos in the successful Historic Endurance Series.

“It is such an amazing opportunity to close this marvelous racing program for 2014, always driving competitive cars and teaming up with highly experienced drivers from past seasons. Raúl and I were making improvements on our Hyundai Coupe throughout the season and we strongly believe we are now in the position to fight for the title in the CER this season”, De los Milagros explains. Regarding the Dodge Viper, “I love this car! I think it´s my favorite one to drive ever! We raced in the 500km of Alcañiz last season and were able to fight for the victory, so it is a right choice for the Spanish GT championship and the new Michelin Endurance Series. I really enjoy classic racing, so with Carlos and Alex I look forward to the opportunity to race with them behind the wheel of true jewels of motorsport”. Always very ambitious, De los Milagros has already defined his priorities as a driver in the future: “my aim is to keep growing as a racing driver and this new goal is the famous 24 hours of Le Mans, where I would like to take part in 2015 or 2016. All my work now, including driving skills and fitness, is focused on this target. I will work harder than ever with my sponsors and fans to achieve it!”.
