Three tyre compounds will provided by Kumho Tyre in the upcoming Auto GP collective test session at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia. The 4.0-kilometer Spanish circuit features a succession of fast corners and straights with tight hairpins. An ideal layout for testing, where the team can try several set-up solutions to be used throughout the 8-round 2014 season.The new factor will be the availability of three different tyre compounds. Every team on the entry least will be allotted four sets of tyres. Three of them will be Kumho Medium, one Kumho Soft and one Kumho Super Soft. The teams will be enabled to verify their cars' handling with every single compound also in race stint conditions.Once again, the promoter of Auto GP aimed to make the series even more similar to the ones coming next in a driver's career, like GP2 and Formula 1.
