ENCOURAGING RESULTS DURING GP RACING’S PRIVATE TEST SESSION IN VALLELUNGA.

GP Racing has just ended a private test session in Vallelunga - the Venetian team’s had three drivers:  Fabrizio Del Monte, Maxime Hodencq and Tor Graves on track.

The team wanted to try out new solutions for the rear suspensions in the hopes of making the car’s already good performance even better.

Vice European Champion Fabrizio Del Monte, who won the race in Brno, ran 200 km without having any technical problems. This is an important test in sight of the next Estoril race.

Maxime Hodencq was less fortunate, the young Belgian driver only managed to run 10 laps before his engine broke down. This inconvenience doesn’t discourage Maxime. In fact the driver says: “I need to look at the bright side of things. I’m lucky that this happened today and not during the Estoril race because that would have been even worse.”

Tor Graves totalled 218 km. The English driver, who went off track at the Brno race after the first few laps, had the chance to test today with continuity and is getting on well with both the team and the car.

Tancredi Pagiaro

“I’m happy about how the team worked today. The day would have been perfect if Maxime’s engine hadn’t broken down. But these are problems that we need to bear in mind. We tried news solutions for the rear suspensions and the results are comforting. We didn’t come to Vallelunga to set great times but to set up the car for the Estoril race. Our objective stays as is: to have 3 competitive cars that will allow our drivers to compete for the front row positions.”
