The 2014 Auto GP season is ready to get underway. With its long winter break finally coming to an end, the series, managed by Enzo Coloni, will be back on-track for a collective test session scheduled for Tuesday, April 1st and Wednesday, April 2nd at Valencia. Fourteen drivers will be hitting the track at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit to prepare for the 2014 season opener on April 13th at Marrakech. Last year's championship-winning team, Super Nova International, has announced female racer Michela Cerruti for a full-season run. She will be partnered at Valencia by Canadian Gianmarco Raimondo and German Markus Pommer. Virtuosi UK, coming from Great Britain, has extended their relationship with Andrea Roda. The Italian will be partnered by Slovenian Richard Gonda and Dutchman Sam Dejonghe.Giuseppe Cipriani will be back in the hunt with his Ibiza Racing Team after their positive 2013 debut. The team will field Turin-based Francesco Dracone tomorrow. Zele Racing have already announced the team's full roster with Tamas Pal Kiss and Sergio Campana assuming the driving duties, but due to a same-day commitment the Italian will have to miss the session and will be replaced by fellow countryman Antonio Spavone. Campana will rejoin the Austrian squad in Morocco for Round 1. MLR71 by Euronova will also be joining the field with two cars for Michele La Rosa and Kimiya Sato. The 2013 runner-up is back from a brilliant performance in preseason GP2 Series testing. Puma 3 M-Sport has recently announced the line-up for their debut AutoGP season and will be running at their home racetrack with Kevin Giovesi and Loris Spinelli.The clocks will start running today from 9 AM to noon and from 2 PM to 5 PM.
