Riccardo Agostini ready for start of FIA F3 Euopean championship

Riccardo Agostini has officially presented, at the San Martino del Lago Circuit his 2014 programme, unveiling the livery of the Mercedes-powered Eurointernational team's Dallara F312 he will race this year in the FIA F3 European Championship.

In the presence of sponsors and supporters, the young Italian driver removed the veil from his car, which this year will feature an elegant blue colour with the streaks of the Italian flag.

In Cremona, Agostini also wanted to thank the over 150 guests who attended, leading them through a "ride" along the track on a Ferrari GT. But before this, the guests could feel the thrill of a lap at Monza’s circuit with the new F1 turbo of the AllinSports professional simulator developed by the South African electronic engineer Anton Stipinovich (ex McLaren, Ferrari and Red Bull Racing), who was also attending the event.

At the same time, guests were able to drive, within same premises where simulator is located, in a small tour of the “mental-athletic training” performed in the small permanent structure of Dr. Riccardo Ceccarelli's Formula Medicine. To lead the performance, instead of Dr. Ceccarelli (who was engaged in Malaysia for the F1 Grand Prix), were Cinzia Della Latta, manager of the Viareggio’s centre, with a team of two athletic trainers.

Also the former F1 driver Nicola Larini got on track, alongside with Riccardo, covering the role of coach-driver of the World Driver Academy Experience, which has its headquarters in the circuit of Cremona.

"This year will be a new challenge for me. There are many similarities but also many differences between the F3 I raced in 2012 winning the Italian title and the one that I will drive in the European series, such as the paddle-shift steering wheel, a completely different weight distribution and the Mercedes powered engine. Moreover, the majority of the tracks are new to me, including the street circuit of Pau, and in this spirit I made a great job with the simulator. But now I feel more than ready to get on track". - commented Agostini.

The first appointment will take place in a few days, Friday and Saturday the 4th and the 5th of April on the Hungaroring track, where the first official tests of the season will be held, followed next week by the the Austrian Red Bull Ring.
