Rounds 1 & 2: Oulton Park, 29 March 2014

Reigning champion Paul Platt started his title defence with two emphatic wins at Oulton Park.

Platt started from pole position in race one and steadily pulled away from the opposition to win by nearly 13 seconds, breaking the lap record in the process. Louis Wall held second place until a wire broke on the coil, handing the position to Dan Clark. Toby Davis survived a mid-race slide on oil to collect third.

Platt was dominant again in race two, while Clark held second place throughout. Wall was third in the early stages but a flat battery put him out on lap three, elevating Davis to third.
