AT THE RED BULL RING TRACK ITALIAN DRIVER SET THE QUICKEST TIME IN THE MORNING SESSIONRiccardo Agostini set the fastest time at the end of the morning session and second overall among the Mercedes-powered cars in the third day of FIA F3 European Championship collective test. In Austria, Riccardo reaped what he has sown with the work done last week at the Hungaroring.
The Eurointernational driver approached the Red Bull Ring confident of the good car development work done in Budapest. The facts proved him right and this morning he clocked 1:25.617, two tents faster than French Esteban Ocon who finished second.
The afternoon was rather time for experimenting various setup solutions, but even so Riccardo still placed himself among the fastest and finished the day entering the top-3 (on 27 drivers). Everything went smoothly and without obstacles, following step by step the program he set for himself.
Today was also dedicated to the official photos, while for tomorrow is scheduled the second and last day of Austrian tests (follow this link for the live timing of the event: https://livetiming.raceresults.nu/redbullring).
The countdown for the first round, which will take place at Silverstone on April 19th-20th, has already started. In the mean time On-Race TV dedicated a report to Agostini and his season presentation, that he did two weeks ago at Cremona’s Circuit. You can watch it (in Italian) in the MULTIMEDIA section of the website http://www.riccardoagostini.eu.
