Kimiya Sato, who finished runner up in last year’s Auto GP Championship will return to the series this weekend for the opening round in Marrakech. Sato, who took a double podium finish around the exciting street course last year is competing this season in GP2 with Campos Racing and last weekend in Bahrain, made his Championship debut.

The Japanese racer from Kobe will line up alongside Michele La Rosa whose car is run under the name MLR71 by Euronova Racing. Track action starts on Friday and both Marrakech races will be shown LIVE on Eurosport.
