Team Icer Brakes starts a new season in Navarra

Following a promising participation in the 500kms of Alcaniz at the end of last year, Team Icer Brakes shall race in the Michelin Endurance Series and the Spanish GT Championship entering the Bolido Racing Dodge Viper GT3 and driven by Jesus Díez Villarroel and Jose Manuel De los Milagros.

Team Icer Brakes approaches its first race in a new and thrilling 2014 season, when the team is expected to participate in two different championships: the Michelin Endurance Series and the Spanish GT championship, they both sharing the same race meetings. There is nothing better than starting at home, as the series kick off at the Circuito de Navarra (Los Arcos) and there Team Icer Brakes will enter Bolido Racing´s Dodge Viper GT3. This car showed progress last November when Team Icer Brakes took part in the 500kms of Alcañiz, as was 2nd on the starting grid, led the race during the first half and finally finished on the rostrum.

At the wheel of the American muscle car there will be two drivers having a deep understanding of this vehicle: Jesus Díez Villarroel and Jose Manuel de los Milagros. Díez Villarroel has plenty of experience in famous races such as Le Mans, Daytona or Spa, and De los Milagros´ long career in the most diverse motorsport series is another plus.

The calendar has scheduled four dates to be held at the following tracks: Circuito de Navarra (12-13 April), Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (17-18 May), Autódromo do Algarve (19-20 July) and Motorland AragOn (8-29 November). In the first round two free practice sessions take place on Saturday morning before meeting´s qualifying session. It is due to start at 15.40 and will define the starting grid. On Sunday the race will start at 10.10 and consisting of 180 minutes pit strategy will play a key role.
