Trident GP3 Series Jerez test round up

23 - VICTOR CARBONE

At the second pre-season GP3 Test in Jerez de la Frontera, Victor was able to once again work on his driving style as well as on the method of warming the tires, preparing them for the flying lap. During both of the two test days, different technical changes were carried out on the cars and during Day2 a long run has also been carried out in order to be ready for the beginning of the GP3 championship that will take place in few weeks.

Best Result: P16 on Day 2 PMBest Timing on Day 1: 1.35.571 - P25 AM & P25 PMBest Timing on Day 2: 1.32.646 - P23 AM & P16 PM

DRIVER'S QUOTE:"These two days we put some good km down. On Day1 I struggled to get the hang of the track and the car, but after hard work from everyone the Day2 was much better. There is a long way to improve, and the good thing is that we will be testing again in Barcelona in a few days so I will work hard to make sure I improve in the areas we are lacking. We got to understand how the Pirelli tires work even more now, so I am really looking forward to Barcelona".

24 - ROMAN DE BEER

For Roman's performance the engineers' have focused their work on the qualifying features using the Pirelli tires' hard compound. The Team spotted some anomalies in the car's behavior with these type of tires, but they were promptly identified and resolved. Furthermore, during the first day, a long run was done that confirmed a good balance of the car with constant timelaps.

25 - DENIS NAGULIN

These two days of testing at Jerez de la Frontera have seen Denis' debut in the GP3 category. The work on car #25 has been primarily focused on adapting his driving style to the needs of this type of car as well as on learning the management of Pirelli tires. The Denis' performance has been very positive and, for this reason, the team has had a chance to make various set up changes helpful for data collection. Furthermore, on Day2 we also had the possibility to focus all our attention on the performance's research for qualifying.
