Round 1: Myherin, 12-13 April

Martin Cox won an eventful opening round after two tough days of competition in Myherin forest aboard his GSR 206 Evo 9.

Cox got his event off to a flying start, setting the fastest time on the opening run and extending his advantage to 26 seconds by the end of the day. He kept out of trouble on day two, while still setting a good pace, to end up with a winning margin of over six minutes.

“The course was brilliant, it’s the best in the country in my opinion,” said Cox. “Thank you to all of the marshals and organisers for a great event.” Paul Myers took second after Andrew West suffered alternator problems and a blown header tank, which dropped him to third.
