Andrew Jordan heads for Scotland

Sutton Coldfield teenager Andrew Jordan will head to Scotland on Sunday (30 May) for round four of the British Junior Rallycross Championship at the Knockhill circuit near Dunfermline.

After the first three rounds of the season in Northern Ireland and Kent, Andrew (14) lies third in the championship and is determined to resume his front-running form after a six-week break in the championship.

However, Andrew was in action recently (17 May) competing in a round of the BTRDA Rallycross Championship at the Blyton circuit in Lincolnshire. Despite some engine dramas, he was able to maintain his overall championship lead in that series!

Now, he is focussing on the incredibly competitive British Junior Championship, where he will come up against as many as 18 other young racers. Like most of the tracks on the calendar, Knockhill is a new challenge for Andrew but he is sure to be bang on the front-running pace.

Knockhill is set in the hills above Dunfermline and is notorious for rapid changes of weather, with the ever-present possibility of rain sweeping across the moors and making life even more tricky for the racers.
