Tamas Pal Kiss (Zele Racing) ended up at the top of the charts in Practice 2 for the Auto GP weekend at Le Castellet.
The Hungarian racer logged a best personal flying lap of 1’17”808 edging championship leader Kimiya Sato (Euronova Racing) by one tenth of a second. Eurotech’s Kevin Giovesi took third place as he improved compared to the morning session to top Germa Super Nova racer Markus Pommer.
Rounding out the top-5, Andrea Roda was the best Virtuosi UK runner of the session and was followed by Super Nova’s Michela Cerruti and Loris Spinelli, driving for Eurotech. Sam Sejonghe (Virtuosi UK), who was the fastest man on-track in Practice 1, took 8th place while Yoshitaka Kuroda (Zele Racing) and Giuseppe Cipriani (Ibiza Racing Team) also showed up into the top-10.
A mechanical issue stopped 2012 Formula 3 Open Champ Niccolo Schiro after just three laps, preventing him to showcase his full potential.
