Riccardo Agostini scored his first point of the season at Hockenheim, which hosted the second round of the FIA F3 European Championship.
It was another troubled weekend:“During the qualifying and the first two races, I wasn’t in the place where I should have been, I have been struggling trying to find a right set-up which would make it possible for us to race among the leaders”.
As a result of qualifying he finished half way down the grid, compromising the whole weekend. In Race 1 a collision forced him to withdraw and in Race 2 a drive-through penalty for exceeding the track limit saw him finish in 18th
However on Sunday, starting from 21st position he netted a tenth place finish.
Results weren’t as good for Race 1 (where a collision forced him to withdraw) and Race 2 (18th after serving a drive-through penalty for exceeding the track limit).
In just three days Agostini will be back on track in at Pau, France on a fascinating but very narrow street circuit.
