Round 2: Rowrah, 3-4 May

Henry Easthope dominated both finals at Rowrah amid wet conditions after the weather failed to co-operate.

Easthope simply drove away from his rivals in the first final, the former CIK-FIA Under 18 World Champion revelling in the slippery conditions and leaving the rest of the 17-strong field to provide the excitement.

It was the same story in final two, despite Easthope briefly losing the lead to a fast starting Will Van Es on the opening lap. Once he had reasserted himself in first place, Easthope got his head down and pulled out an impressive eight-second margin over Van Es, who had a similar advantage over the rest of the field.
