Round 2: Rowrah, 3-4 May
Tom Wood picked up where he left off at Shenington by winning the first final at Rowrah, before Kiern Jewiss won the second encounter.
Wood edged out his new AIM Motorsport team-mate Jewiss in a tense last-lap battle for victory in final one. Fin Kenneally, who was fastest in timed qualifying, produced his best showing to date with a strong run to third.
Wood and Jewiss resumed their battle in the second final; Jewiss nosed ahead on the final lap but as Wood went for a move at McRae’s hairpin he half spun in the slippery conditions, allowing Jewiss to escape and letting Kenneally through into second.
