Bovington June Scorcher

Forget the state of the weather at 1.30pm on Sunday June 6th when Spedeworth bring the 2.0 Hot Rods, Superstox, Rookie Bangers and Ministox to Bovingdon for a scorching hot day of racing.

The 2.0 Hot Rods will be competing in Round 4 of their Grand Prix Series so spectators will be treated to some extremely rapid racing as the non-contact cars power around the Hertfordshire circuit at speeds that leave very little margin for error, despite the fact that the cars are racing literally inches from each others bumpers.

Noncontact will not be an issue for the equally rapid Superstox as the armoured machines power around the track, putting the bumper in to each other.

More metal bending will be provided by the Rookie Bangers as the stripped out MOT failures plough into each other in pursuit of points in Round 5 of their Track Championship.

The Ministox will round off another great value for money day's racing as their young (11-16 year old) pilots push their mini sized cars to the max in Round 3 of the King Ed Series track championship.

With four formulas racing, free parking a great view of all the action from high-banked spectator areas, Bovingdon (situated off B4005 Bovingdon, Nr Hemel Hempstead, Herts, on the airfield complex) will provide yet another action packed day's racing when the green flag waves on June 6th.
