Only a few days ago, at Hockenheim, he scored the first point of the season. Just less than a week later Riccardo Agostini will get back on track on the twisty and fascinating street circuit of Pau, where the third round of the FIA European F3 Championship will be held.
Between sidewalks, walls and guardrails, the Italian driver will play an ace up his sleeve: his experience. Despite having never previously raced on this small village at the foot of the Pyrenees, Agostini will aim to find his way among the leaders, maximizing all the data so far collected in the first two rounds of Silverstone and Hockenheim.
This weekend at Pau will undoubtedly be unusual, given the atypical features of a Montecarlo-like track. However Riccardo is not new to city circuits, having raced in 2013 at Marrakech, a faster and, under many aspects, different track, where the young Venetian didn’t miss the occasion to show off a third response in the qualifying for then finishing fourth in Race 1.
The two rounds of free practice of 40’ each will take place on Friday, while at 16:40 will start the qualifying (45’). The first of the 3 races of 35’ each, broadcasted live on http://www.fiaf3europe.com/livestream.html, will begin Saturday morning at 11:15, Race 2 and Race 3 will take place on Sunday at 11:15 and 15:15.
