Villorba Corse 458 is the first Ferrari at Silverstone in the Blancpain Endurance Series

Points finish for Castellacci / Gai / Rizzoli in the second round of the championshipScuderia Villorba Corse comes back from Silverstone with a points finish in the second round of the 2014 Blancpain Endurance Series. With no possibilities to test on dry track on Saturday, the Ferrari 458 of Francesco Castellacci, Stefano Gai and Andrea Rizzoli faced not an easy Sunday, above all in the qualifying sessions. Then, at the end of a competitive but not free of troubles three-hour endurance race, they came in fifth position in the Pro-Am category (fourteenth overall), clinching some precious points for the championship standings thanks to a positive comeback.

“We were the first Ferrari to cross the finish line - says Amadio, Team Principal - and we partially recovered our qualifying gap. It was not an easy weekend for us. We had more potential but we have to take the positive side and work hard for the next rounds.”
