Wallace Menzies and Scott Moran shared the wins at Gurston Down, with the latter taking the championship lead.
The unique DJ Firestorm of Menzies shot to victory in the first run-off. By winning the second run-off Moran, the sport’s most successful driver, took the championship lead from Alex Summers, who suffered an expensive dropped valve while trying to qualify for the first run-off.
