MISANO AT LAST!
The last round of the Ferrari Challenge - on his home turf - was very disappointing for Max Mugelli. A broken tailpipe during Race 1 prevented Max from climbing the podium and a new technical problem in Race 2 forced him to retire.
He is looking forward to racing on the Misano track where he took a 3rd in 2002 in the world finale of the Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy. There will be two consecutive races scheduled in Misano for the Ferrari Challenge because the Austrian track of Salzburgring did not get the necessary approval to host the next round.

“After the big disappointment at my home race, I’m looking forward to getting back on track to wipe out that result. I hope that Misano will be the place where I can do this. The track is rather demanding from a physical point of view and the heat these days may also be challenging for the tyres.
Together with a good physical preparation, I need to have good technical skills that will allow me not to quickly use up the tyres.”
