GP2 Series Round 5, Stefano and Lello are looking to build on the success of Austria at Silverstone.
Two weeks ago at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, Racing Engineering had their most successful weekend so far in the 2014 GP2 Series when Stefano Coletti finished second and fourth and Raffaele Marciello took two thirds in the Feature and Sprint Races. This weekend sees the GP2 teams assemble at Silverstone for the fifth round of the year and Racing Engineering are determined to build on this success and ensure that both drivers can continue to finish at the front of the field.
For this weekend Pirelli will be supplying their P Zero Orange hard and P Zero White medium tyres to the GP2 teams as the long fast corners and long straights on the circuit mean that the two harder options are the best choice, the first time that these two compounds have been offered together.
Silverstone is not an easy track to overtake on so it will be important that both drivers qualify well and both Lello and Stefano have a good record at starting on the front few rows of the grid and, given their very strong race pace, both men will be looking to finish on the podium again in both races.
