USA Sprints

Under a steady and persistant Florida Summer Rain The USA Sprints raced and put on a great show for the loyal fans despite the uncooperative weather from Mother Nature.

Shane "West Coast Flash" Kreidler # 52 driving his family owned and "Coach" Dan Kriedler took his first USA Sprints victory with a breakthrough performance at Orange County Speedway.

Shane was pressed hard and often challenged by the # 22 Budweiser car driven by Bob "Thunderfoot" Schaeffer from New Castle Colorado and "Tiny" Tim George in the #1 Venice Wrecker Shaw sprinter was close behind. David "Skeeter" Kelly in the Big Tree Nursery/Kellys Trucking Sprinter #12 who brought home fourth with lil brother Andy "HammerDown" Kelly driving the Skaggs Tire Service #11 coming home 5th.

These five drivers battled mostly all race long and especially the latter part of the race but Kreidler was able to just nip "Thunderfoot" and hold on for a very impressive victory. The Track was very heavy but got real racey at halfway commented several drivers. John "Party Time Cickota drove a consistant race to wind up 6th. He was followed by Mikey "The Kid Davis # 3 & Mike "Hollywood" Shroeder and RC Roper in the Hayoft Western Wear # 92.

Bob "Thunderfoot Schaeffer won the coveted KSE Engineering Hard Charger award.  Race Director "Chip" Charles Stick and The USA Sprints Series Sponsor graciously donated 200.00 towards the purse. Congrats to Shane and all the USA Sprints Drivers on a job well done despite the inclement weather - there are now seven different winners out of nine races in 2004! Who will be the next?
